SECTION 10 - Electronic Cigarettes
10.1 – Detainees may order no more than one (1) electronic cigarette (E-Cig) per day.
10.2 – Each E-Cig shall be assigned a unique serial number linked to the ordering detainee.
10.3 – All used or depleted E-Cigs shall be surrendered to a Correctional Officer for proper disposal.
10.4 – Detainees are solely responsible for their assigned E-Cig. Loss, exchange, sale, transfer, or any form of tampering is strictly prohibited. Any tampering or misuse will result in the permanent loss of E-Cig privileges for the assigned detainee.
10.5 – E-Cig privileges may be suspended or revoked at any time by the Chief Jail Administrator for any rule violation or as a disciplinary sanction, as follows:
1st Offense: 15-day suspension
2nd Offense: 30-day suspension
3rd Offense: Permanent revocation
