24.1 - Detainee Inquiries & Requests
 

All requests for information, special-issued items, incarceration-related questions, or similar matters shall be submitted through the kiosk inquiry function. In limited or special circumstances, staff may provide written inquiry forms upon request. Detainees who are unable to read or write will be provided assistance by staff in completing the form.

24.2 – Processing of Inquiries
 

All detainee inquiries will be addressed as promptly as operational conditions allow. Medical and dental inquiries shall be handled in accordance with the facility’s established medical policies. Medical or dental emergencies will receive immediate attention and response.

24.3 – Language and Conduct in Submissions
 

Detainee inquiries containing profanity, threats, or obscene language may be returned without processing and may be referred for review under the facility’s disciplinary procedures, as appropriate.
