Section 26 - Fire Safety & Emergency Procedures
26.1 – Fire Safety & Emergency Procedures
The Randolph County Detention Facility is equipped with an advanced fire prevention and suppression system to ensure the safety of all detainees and staff. In the event of a fire, fire and smoke alarms will activate to alert both staff and detainees. The facility’s sprinkler system will also deploy automatically if necessary.
Staff members are trained in fire emergency response procedures and will provide instructions during any such incident. All detainees are required to follow staff directives immediately and without hesitation.
Remain calm and do not panic. Your safety, as well as the safety of others, depends on your cooperation and compliance with staff instructions during any fire or emergency situation.
