Section 3 - Clothing
3.1 – Personal Clothing
Detainees are not permitted to wear personal clothing, except for the following authorized items:
White underwear (males)
Basic white panties (females)
White socks
White T-shirts without pockets
Prohibited Items Include:
Tank tops
V-neck T-shirts
Lace, thong, or otherwise non-standard undergarments
3.2 – Detention Center Uniforms
Detainees shall wear the issued detention center uniform at all times when outside of their assigned cell or housing area.
Uniforms must be worn properly, including being fully fastened, pulled up, and not altered in any manner.
Clothing that is torn, altered, or defaced is prohibited and will be confiscated and disposed of.
3.3 – Detainee RFID Wristbands
All detainees are required to wear their issued RFID wristband at all times unless medically exempt.
Wristbands must be presented upon request by staff for identification, including during headcounts, meals, medication distribution, movement, and issuance of supplies.
Refusal to wear, removal, alteration, or intentional damage to a wristband will result in disciplinary action.
3.4 – Head Coverings
Head coverings are not permitted unless specifically authorized for approved work assignments such as work release or designated work details.
3.5 – Laundry
Detainees are prohibited from washing clothing within their cells or housing areas.
Laundry services are provided by the facility in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
